SMALL HOTEL AND LODGE MANAGEMENT TRAINING

NTHMC organized two weeks Small Hotel & Lodge Management Training program for the students of grade 12. The objective of this training is to make students aware about the indigenous crops of hilly areas, local culture, local cooking and serving methods and Nepalese hospitality. During this training, students were taught about the preparation of various dishes from local crops using local tools and equipment. The students were taught about the local beverages that are available in different regions of hilly areas. The concept was to make students have broad knowledge regarding homestay and tea shops. Vice Principal Mr. Raj Kumar Karki, Chef Mr. Baburam Regmi lead the kitchen, Mr. Sundar Kushwaha & Bimala Thapa Magar lead the restaurant, Mr. Rajendra Gurung lead the Barista and Ms. Priyanka Thapa Magar lead the housekeeping part during the program. The certification program was conducted on 22nd March, 2024 where all the participants were certified.
