BHM 1^st semester students of NTHMC organized ‘Inter-College Food Testing Competition’ named as ‘Test the Taste’, on 26^th January 2024 at Chhinedanda, Pokhara. The objective of this competition was to know – how much students are familiar with different ingredients used in the kitchen.

There were nearly 70 different ingredients ranging from herbs, spices, sauces, flours, fruits and vegetables. There were 19 colleges with five students from each college participating at the event.

The winners are as follows: Blind Fold- Taste: Ms. Shreenju Gurung (NTHMC), Blind Fold- Smell: Ms. Anisha Regmi (Mount Annapurna), Blind Fold- Touch: Mr. Bibas Thapa (Pokhara Technical School), Open Eye- Sight: Mr. Trilok Baral (Pokhara Technical School), Open Eye- Memory: Ms. Ikshya Pandey (Junior Citizen Academy) and wining college with highest points NTHMC. Were awarded with prizes and certificate by Mr. Prakash Regmi, Principal and Mr. Dinesh Kumar Yadav, +2 Coordinator. The program was emceed by Mr. Deeplove Bahadur Shahi and Ms. Smriti Gurung jointly.
