Workshop on “Insight of Learning and Evaluation System of Pokhara University”
Nepal Tourism and Hotel Management College (NTHMC), conducted a one-day workshop program on “Insight of Learning and Evaluation System of Pokhara University” which was held on 1st June, 2018 at the college premises. The program was chaired by the chairperson of college management committee, Mr. Ashok Kumar Palikhe and anchored by the program coordinator as well as BBA/BBA-BI Cordinator, Mr. Harihar Poudel. The program was inaugurated by the resource person, Dr. Rabindra Ghimire, the director of SOB, Pokhara University who lit a lamp to commence the program. In the Program, Principal, Coordinators, full time/ part time faculty were present at that moment. Mr. Ashok Palikhe, Chairman of the College Management Committee delivered the vote of thanks to the delegates and participants. He further briefed about the program and its relevance for the management college. The main objective of the conducting a one day workshop program is to transform a teacher into learning and creative teacher.

After the formal welcome and lighting lamp, the session started with a discussion on Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment (CPA) and its application by Dr. Rabindra Ghimire that lasted till 2: 30 pm. Second session started after lunch. Dr. Bharat Ram Dhungana, Controller of the Examinations, Pokhara University focused about Examination and Evaluation system of Pokhara University. He introduced the general issues on examinations, key achievements of Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE), plan of OCE and strategy to enhance result performance. The program was wrapped up with certificate distribution to the participants as well as photo session.
