On 25^th May, NTHMC organized guest session on ‘Career in Hospitality Industry’ to the students of BHM 6^th Semester. The Key speaker of the session was Mr. Rakindra Parajuli who is Assistant General Manager of Homewood Suites by Hilton, Washington DC, USA. The principal Mr. Prakash Regmi, welcomed the guest and students for the session.

Mr. Parajuli, shared his own experience of studying hospitality management at USA and the different nature of jobs he did during his study period. He highlighted that the first job he did was the dish washer which taught him the real life of student at their dream country United States. Later, after 2 months he joined as restaurant waiter and within a course of 4 years partly owned the same restaurant. He added that the dedication, passion, positivity and hard-work are the keys for the success. He highlighted that ‘Try’ and ‘Never Give Up’ are the principles one need to have so as to fulfill the dreams. Finally, he focused that the confidence, knowledge and the positive learning attitude are the pillars for the youths to reach the desired goal and he suggested that digital platform is the way to brand yourself so need to connect with the world. At the end, he was thanked and offered with the token of love by the college principal.
