As a continuity to our regular program of welcome and farewell, NTHMC, Block B organized Welcome program to New Intake Students 2023 at Block B in the central college located at Chhinnedanda on 11th January 2024. This time the students of third semesters were the host. The programme was started after the chief guest ignited the lamp. The emcees were Sadikshya Rana of BBA-BI III and Anil Subedi BBA III semesters respectively, while the Welcome speech was delivered by Nischalata Joshi from BBA III semester. After the end of the formal programme, vote of thanks to the students was delivered by Prakash Regmi, the principal of the college and special invitee of the function.
The students had lunch and participated in different cultural programmes and musical concerts soon after the formal programme. For the first time in the history of the college, the program incorporated Mr. and Mrs. Fresher contest. Altogether, 10 contestants participated in the program. The winner of the title are Sarman Rajbhandari and Nitu Pun from BBA I semester. The chairperson welcomed the students with Khada, garland and a token of love while the principal offered them vermillion dust to set a new academic journey together with NTHMC management. In his address to the student, the chairperson informed that the management is open to provide all sort of facilities to the students while the principal highlighted on the need of visiting different business houses and industries for practical knowledge to the students. Chairperson also assured that the management committee is ready to make financial support from the guest lectures and other creative functions brought forward by the students. The informal programme lasted till 6:00 PM. The students of BHM and the kitchen department from our practical labs served the students from the sister wing in the open yard outside with the delicious foods. The new students enjoyed full of tummy and licked the fingers till last. The coordinator of Center for Business Management Mr. Harihar Poudel along with the administration team and faculty members at Gairapatan enjoyed the program. The coordinator, Mr. Poudel also thanked the students for making the program a huge success. Vote of thanks from the student’s side receiving welcome was delivered by Sarman Rajbhandari.
