A one-day “Food Fiesta 2022” has been completed at Nepal Tourism and Hotel Management College Chinedanda Pokhara, attracting more than 3,000 visitors. Visitors filled the college premises throughout the program.

Prakash Regmi, principal of the college, said that this is a strong infrastructure for the students to put into practice what they are learning in the college and to go into the work field in the future. He said that the students are preparing to go anywhere in the country or abroad with skilled skills and be able to stand on their own feet. As we all have seen, all these events are initiated by the students, this is only our guideline.

The food fiesta, which

was organized on Saturday in the premises of the college in Chinedanda, Regmi, lasted from 11 am to 9 pm. Where the students prepared food dishes of different tastes.

The president of the event organizing committee, Sonika Shrees, informed that the program organized with the slogan “Taste and Culture” is to introduce the food and its taste to the youth and help in its promotion.

Half a dozen localand foreign food dishes were served at the fiesta. Where the bar, the art of skillful service, cocktail drinks and various arts of making and servingwere presented.

To make the program a grand and entertaining atmosphere, the artist students of Parivan Band, Supriya Gurung and others presented songs and dances.

On the same occasion, various games were played among the students of the college. Basketball, football, ring throwing and other games were also included. Students, parents, people from the tourism sector, security and local people’s representatives participated in the program.
